Let's get it started

This is my official first post for this blog. I figured it might make sense to start off by saying what I hope to achieve by maintaining this website:

1) I want a place to collect my thoughts, ideas and pictures.

2) I want a place to share these things with other people

3) I want to meet and connect with new people who share similar interests

4) I want to learn from people about all of my interests and hobbies.
